Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is currently searching for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Information Services Department. This is a regular, full-time, exempt position, and is eligible for benefits.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Systems, the Senior Business Analyst will work primarily with internal G&A customers (Finance, HR, Legal, Development, Facilities, Ship Operations, etc.) in support of the ERP system and related business applications. The successful candidate will identify requirements, assist in the development of practical solutions, and troubleshoot problems while working in collaboration with customers and fellow IS associates. This position utilizes extensive experience to provide high level technical support to the community as well as mentorship to the Business Systems group and acts as a back-up to the Senior Manager, Business Systems in his/her absence.
Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is currently searching for a Manager, Information Services (IS) Security to manage all cyber and electronic information security at the Institution. This is a regular, full-time, exempt position, and is eligible for benefits.
Reporting directly to the Deputy Director & Vice President of Research, and working closely with the Sr. Director of Information Services, the Manager, IS Security through matrix reporting is responsible for management and oversight of implementation, coordination, operation and remediation of internal and external cyber security and compliance. This is achieved with a small staff of subject matter experts and service providers.
Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is currently searching for a Principal Systems Administrator to join the Information Services Department. This is a regular, full-time, exempt position, and is eligible for benefits.
Work as part of an Information Services team to architect, implement, and support WHOI’s servers, data storage, and HPC clusters and applications, with an emphasis on High Performance Computing (HPC).
Work closely with scientists and researchers who are leaders in their fields, advising and assisting them with their computing, storage, and HPC needs. Demonstrated ability to provide high levels of customer service, and to communicate with both technical and non-technical users. Must have the ability to guide and assist researchers in multiple disciplines to modify workflows and codes to take full advantage of HPC resources.
Willing and eager to quickly learn and introduce new technologies and applications, have experience with proprietary and open-source software, data storage platforms and operating systems.
