Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is seeking a Shop Services Assistant to join our Facilities Department for the Summer of 2024. Under general direction from a Facilities Shop Supervisor, the candidate will performs a variety of routine work associated with the areas of machining, maintenance, electrical, and/or carpentry.
This is a temporary, casual position and is eligible for casual benefits.
Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution is currently searching for two Machinist or Sr. Machinist to join the Facilities Department to perform routine and production machining of metals and plastics. This is a regular, full-time, non-exempt position, and is eligible for full benefits.
The internal working titles for this position could be either Machinist or Sr. Machinist. The final level of the position will be determined commensurate with the selected candidate’s level of education & experience.
